Star Makers Tuition Policies
General Tuition Information for Star Makers Evening Program.
REGISTRATION
There is a $35.00 annual registration fee due per family. The first Monthly installment is due at the time of registration. For online registration, a credit card number must also be submitted for registration to be processed. The Credit Card will be debited for the full amount once registration information has been confirmed. Please register here.
TUITION
Tuition amounts are based upon how many hours of class instruction a child takes per week. Tuition is due no later than the 5th day of each month. Please note that this due date is regardless of which day the 5th falls upon on a given month. Class Tuition is divided into monthly installments, thus tuition is the same regardless of the length of the month.
PAYMENTS/FEES
Tuition may be paid via Cash, Credit Card, or Check made out to Star Makers Academy of Dance. There is a $35.00 fee due on all dishonored checks. Tuition paid after the 5th of each month will automatically be charged a $20.00 late fee. For the convenience of our clients, Star Makers provides a tuition auto debit program. On the 1st of each month tuition will be automatically debited from a credit card or checking account. Sibling Discount: Families with multiple dancers receive 10% off total tuition. Dancers must be siblings living in the same household. There are NO REFUNDS given on any tuition or fees. Sorry, no exceptions.
Class Placement Policies
Placement into a particular level is at the sole discretion of the instructor and director. Star Makers has a clear set of objectives that dancers must master before moving up to new level. Dancers are assessed according to the objectives of each class. It is likely that dancers may start the year out as a beginner and move up to an intermediate level if they are able to demonstrate mastery of skills at a faster pace then classmates. Star Makers seeks to challenge their dancers, however we feel it is the best interest of the dancer’s development that emphasis is placed on teaching dancers proper technique so that dancers are built upon a sound foundation. Parents who have questions about leveling are always welcomed to speak with the studio director.
